Refineries post £11.77bn loss in three months
Meanwhile, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, in its monthly financial reports released on Sunday, noted that three refineries recorded a combined operating deficit of ₦11.77 billion in the months June, July and August 2021.
NNPC revealed that refineries in Port Harcourt, Warri and Kaduna were not producing crude oil due to ongoing rehabilitation.
According to the report, the relevant refineries lost N4.01 billion in August, N3.37 billion in July and N4.01 billion in June.
It revealed that total crude oil and condensate production for May, June and July 2021 was 140.88 million barrels. An average of 1.53 million barrels per day.
