Google is arguably the smartest search engine in the tech space right now and this can mainly be attributed to its ability to deliver the most relevant results for a user query.
Of course, this ability is a product of the fact that the search giant typically has the most data among its rivals about a user accumulated over time from services like Google Maps, YouTube, and many more.
I mean Bing isn’t too bad either, but since Microsoft usually doesn’t know you too well, their results might not always be as personalized as Google.
Still, organized search results aren’t all that Google stands out for, as it also has the ability to select the most relevant result and display it at the top in an easy-to-read infobox format.
This infobox can display movie suggestions, job vacancies, stock price charts, and more, all of which are derived from Google’s own Knowledge Graph, which is a database of billions of facts about people, places and things.
Speaking of stock charts⦠these are displayed whenever you search for details relating to a stock market like Sensex or even when you search for terms like “Google stock” to search for the stock prices of a public company.
This useful little Google Search feature, loved by stock traders, businesses and enthusiasts, has recently reportedly stopped working for many users.

The Google search result no longer shows the sensex stock chart when I type “sensex”. Until yesterday, it was working fine. But as of today 18-Feb-2021 the sensex graph is not showing in google search results. Also the same with the case of nifty index. Please correct them as soon as possible.

Previously, if you searched for âReliance share price,â it would show the stock price chart for the moment and along with other relevant financial data. Now when I search for this the stock price chart / graph does not appear. Even in the Google Finance tab, I can’t see the stock price chart.

As can be seen from the above, looking for stocks and actions does not yield any charts at the top for many users. Instead, only a preview of the stock is shown with no chart signs.

This persists even under the “Finances” tab which is under the search bar. Moreover, based on the available evidence, it appears that the issue is limited to India at this time only.
Also, given the dates of these bug reports, the problem seems to have only started yesterday, February 18th.
Nonetheless, the good news is that the case has already been referred to the Google search team for investigation.

Therefore, a fix should be deployed for the problem very soon. Of course, this would not require any intervention on your part, so all you have to do is wait.
