Gender Issues/Chart of Recommendations
Gender guidelines
The Nanofun-Poly Network promotes the gender equality through concrete actions and best practices. In order to facilitate our policies we recommend the partners to:
- promote and support women’s mobility for participation to activities organized by the Gender Office;
- offer free baby sitting services to facilitate parent’s that wish to travel with their children;
- complete the participant’s form distributed by the gender office (DOWNLOAD) in order to facilitate the gender monitorage;
- facilitate information regarding gender issues;
- support the gender awareness group and it’s activities;
- distribute roles and responsibilities paying attention to gender;
- promote a positive image of science among women and of women in science.
Particular attention will be paid on evaluating and developing links with e.g. The European Platform of Women Scientists.
