We cordially invite you to attend the 3rd Workshop of the Network of Excellence “NANOFUN-POLY” on
"Chemistry, Processing, Structure and Properties, and Applications of Nanostructured Polymers and Nanocomposites
Life-Cycle Engineering, Gender Issues"
The aim of this workshop is to bring together scientists from all the main research areas of NoE – polymer chemistry, polymer processing, nanostructure - property relationship and applications. It should provide also an overview about the near and long-term success of these activities within the NoE as a background for the joint review meeting.

There will be Network Steering Commitee and Research Commitee Meetings on Thursday, November 10, 15.30 - 19.30 organized in the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry, ASCR, Heyrovsky Sq. 2, Prague 6 (The venue where the associated Second Short Course takes place.)
Deadlines
October 10, 2005: Registration and abstract submission for
participants intending to present an oral contribution. The
participants will be notified about the acceptance of their oral
contribution by October 20, 2005.

Workshop Venue
The address of the conference venue is Malostranské nám 23
Prague 1. It can be easily reached by Metro line A and trams No.
20, 22, 23, and 12.
The meeting will be held in Kaiserstein Palace, located directly in
the most attractive historical center of Prague, the capital and
largest city of the Czech Republic, situated on the Vltava river in
Central Bohemia. Since 1992, the historic center of Prague has
been included in the UNESCO list of world heritage sites. This
Lesser Town palace originated from two joined houses both
dating as the early 15th cent. and its Gothic cellar has been
preserved to the present. The two buildings were joined in
1630 and in 1700 the building fell into the possession of
Keiserstein family. The following year, the house was
basically reconstructed by J.B. Aliprandi and since then it
retains the present appearance. From 1907 the palace was in
the possession of Ema Destinova, the world-known opera and
concert soprano singer and a partner of Enrico Caruso.
