We cordially invite you to attend the 1st Workshop of the Network of Excellence “NANOFUN-POLY” on the Areas of Excellence “Polymer Chemistry” and “Polymer Processing”, which will be held on January, 28th and 29th, 2004 in the city of Dresden, Germany.

In 16 Lecturers (15 min. Lecture + 5 min. discussion) distributed in 1,5 days the workshop aims to identify the scientific expertise of all partners in the fields of WP8 and WP9 (Polymer Chemistry and Polymer Processing), to report on the progress in the specific subtopics (WP 8.1, 8.2, 9.1, 9.2), and to discuss possible co-operations and joint projects within Nanofunpoly partners and industry.

It is of special interest to include industry on the discussion and to identify industrial needs and interests.

This Workshop is open to all Nanofunpoly partners including all researchers and students as well as to interested partners from industry

The number of lecture slots is very restricted, however, several poster presentation by a group and presentations by students are highly welcome. Poster do not have to be prepared specially only for that occasion.

All partners involved in WP8 and WP9 should report on their recent scientific achievements regarding the specific subtopics and their involvement there either by a lecture or posters with special focus on WP8 and WP9.
